Job Description:

Social Media Correspondents will play a vital role for the Fusion FC Communications team, by creating unique content and additional exposure for the league and its clubs, and generating positive fan engagement across a variety of social platforms.

Successful candidates will be responsible for covering WPSL matches in person, capturing informative and entertaining content before, during, and after matches in their assigned region, that will be distributed on the league’s official Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok channels.

Ideal candidates would have experience working or volunteering in social media, and a general knowledge of soccer. Specific knowledge of the WPSL and the women’s game is a plus.

Multiples positions open.

College students studying digital media, sports marketing, communications or journalism are encouraged to apply.
 

Responsibilities:

• Attend Fusion FC WPSL matches and capture photo and video content, including but not limited to pre-game activities, fan interaction, game highlights and postgame interviews.
• Represent the WPSL and Fusion FC with the highest standards when attending WPSL matches and creating content.
• Execute social media strategies based on direction from the Fusion FC Director of Operations to create original content for use on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and TikTok.
   

Experience/Qualifications Requirements:

• Individual must be energetic, enthusiastic and dedicated
• Individual must be self-motivated and able to manage time well
• Individual must have creative initiative to produce a range of content at each WPSL match
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of social media practices and trends
• Experience creating social media content for Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter or Facebook

Job Description:

Fusion FC is looking for U10-U16 youth soccer teams to carry out the Ball Girl/Boy duties at home games during 2023 WPSL season.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out all ball duties ‘Pitch side’
• Players to form a ‘Guard of Honor’ prior to the WPSL teams entering the pitch
• All Ball Girls/Boys will receive a certificate

Job Description:

Fusion FC is seeking host families who can provide accommodation for international/out-of-state WPSL players aged 15-23 years. 

Our ideal Host family provision will be able to offer our young players a stable, safe,

comfortable (and we hope) a happy family environment. We believe our players perform better on the pitch when they are settled and content at home. 

Responsibilities:

•  You will be located within a 15-mile radius of our training facility in North Port, Florida.  
• You should offer good quality accommodation, preferably in a family environment.
• Family meals, access to laundry facilities and WiFi. 
• Full accommodation will be required over the 3 month WPSL season. 
• The willingness to accommodate players on a short-term basis during the season is also desirable.
